Prices for the Ertiga have gone up by 1.4%, while those for the Baleno have gone up by 0.5%.
In an effort to improve the safety appeal of its vehicles, Maruti has now made six airbags standard on all versions of the Maruti Ertiga and Baleno. Additionally, according to the automaker, this update would raise the price of the Ertiga by 1.4 percent and the Baleno by 0.5 percent.
Notably, Bharat NCAP has conducted crash tests on the Baleno for both its dual airbag and six airbag models. Six airbags, which are now standard on all models, helped it earn a 4-star safety certification. While the Ertiga received a 1-star rating in the Global NCAP test for the South African market under more stringent guidelines, it has not yet undergone the BNCAP evaluation.
Now that both of these vehicles have improved safety in their base models as well, let’s examine everything they have to offer.
